Air Conditioning System Installation Projects

Detailed below are some of the projects that Turn Key Air Conditioning have completed.

WILLIAM HILL.

We have worked for William Hill since 2003 and undertake nationwide installations, with shops recently completed in Preston Blackpool, Edinburgh, Perth, Middlesbrough, Glasgow, Widnes, Liverpool and Cambuslang.

We work direct for the William Hill group installing counter, shop front and ceiling air conditioning in new builds and a high number of upgrades. The upgrades represent a serious challenge as we must maintain a safe and secure operation whilst the shop continues to trade.
We were initially recommended to William Hill by a major equipment supplier and the ongoing contractor performance evaluation, conducted by consulting engineer, is very stringent.

THE ARTHOUSE HOTEL GLASGOW.

We worked with consulting engineers to install the air conditioning upgrade to this listed building in Glasgow city centre. The project involved a VRF system installation as part of a major upgrade, whilst the hotel continued to trade. This was a particularly challenging assignment as the services are located on the roof of the hotel, requiring us to reach from the roof to the basement of a four storey listed building, with all of the limitations that listed status imposes.

COVE COLLEGE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION.

This ground breaking college is located on the Team Valley, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. We worked for mechanical contractors N.G. Bailey to install fully air conditioned lecture theatres. This state of the art VRF system includes self diagnostics and is remotely controlled via a network. VRF was chosen for ease of installation and it also avoided the necessity for a large boiler which would have been under-utilised.

EUROBET.

Eurobet is the internet division of Coral. We undertook a major VRF air conditioning project at the central offices in Woking, Surrey. This office and comms room upgrade involved relocating the comms room whilst it continuing to function. By selecting a VRF system, further modifications, extensions and relocations will be facilitated at minimal cost.

The very sensitive computer equipment requires heating, cooling and humidity to be extremely closely controlled. Heat to +/ - ½ degree. Humidity +/- 5%. The monitoring process is very sophisticated, with text message or e-mail notification of any malfunction.

To protect all of this infrastructure, a state of the art fire suppression system using inert gas has been installed.

SUPER DRUG STORES PLC.

For new builds we install direct for group parent A.S. Watson group.
For existing stores we work through facilities managers.
We have recently completed re-fits in the Morpeth, Redcar, Liverpool, Wakefield, and Hexham stores. In Scotland we have installed air conditioning for many re-fits including Edinburgh, Broughty Ferry and Fraserburgh.

Refurbishment air conditioning installations are often undertaken in trading shops. Here great emphasis is placed on Health & Safety, with significant out of hours working to minimise disruption.

MEDICAL CENTRES.

There has been a recent drive to fund the development of doctors’ surgeries to enable them to perform more services, including minor operations. Projects include a mixture of refurbishment, extension and new build. Requirements typically involve air conditioning system installation in waiting areas treatment rooms and surgeries. Recent medical centre projects have been completed in Durham, Scarborough and Huddersfield.

LEEDS VALLEY OFFICE DEVELOPMENT.

Working here with partners NG Bailey, we have installed a centrally controlled air conditioning system in 28,000 sq metres of office space. The project covered two buildings of four storey open plan office space. The installation includes built in flexibility to enable the space to be carved into a range of offices of various sizes.
