Turn Key Air Conditioning Ltd, are contractors with a long history of providing high performance air conditioning solutions to reputable clients within the retail and leisure sector. We hold ongoing air conditioning, service and maintenance contracts for Wilkinsons Store Group nationwide, whom we work closely with on projects. We supply Wilkinsons as with all of our other clients with an air conditioning system tailored to their exact requirements. We also constantly review our product designs and equipment to achieve the most efficient and cost effective solution. Environmental considerations are an important priority too and receive the utmost consideration.
As part of our commitment to complete customer satisfaction we organised a trip for some of Wilkinsons key personnel, to the Hitachi manufacturing plant in Barcelona. This allowed them to experience the advantages of this technology first hand, and to see how well they operate. The visit ended with an excursion to the world famous Nou Camp Stadium, which was enjoyed by all.

Newcastle Upon Tyne is the cultural capital of the North East and according to one US student at Newcastle Upon Tyne University, its ‘just awesome’! The bars and restaurants are amazing, as is the Baltic Museum, across the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art is popular with frequent visitors, as its displays rotate regularly, constantly bringing something new, funky and interesting. Students particularly love shopping areas like the one in Northumberland Street which is a hustling, bustling place full of exciting places to buy or browse. Fenwicks store has an incredible, eagerly awaited, themed window display each Christmas time, with past themes including the Nativity, Santa and his elves, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Rupert the Bear and Alice in Wonderland.
Apart from the sea and the beach, the coast around Whitley Bay and Tynemouth provides visitors with a variety of and pastimes and attractions like markets, surfing and walking.
The North Tyneside 10k Road Race is held around Easter time each year and follows one of the UK’s most scenic routes, covering areas like North Shields Fish Quay, Tynemouth Priory, and the North East coastline before finishing off at St Mary’s Lighthouse in Whitley Bay. The race is organised by North Tyneside Council, and supported by Northumbria Spring water and Start Fitness. There is always a great atmosphere and there are spectators cheering at the start and finish as well as along the entire route.
Participants number around 2,000 and include running club members challenging their personal best and people who are simply running for fun. The record for the course is currently held at 30 minutes and 26 seconds. The race now uses electronic chip timing, an innovative technology which provides extremely accurate results, as opposed to the traditional methods like the stopwatch or video camera. Further evidence of the digital age is seen as participants receive their timing result via text message.
